Funding
A government bursary is paid to you in 9 monthly payments whilst you are on the course. If you leave before completion of the course the payments will cease. The bursary will be £9,000 for all the subjects we offer, except P.E. and English, which will be £6,000.
Tuition Fees for 2008/09 will be £1,800.
You may be eligible for a non-means tested grant of £1230 and be able to apply for an additional means-tested grant of £1535, available from your Local Authority.
There is also a Tuition Fee loan available from the Student Loans Company.

You will be expected to pay for your own travel – we shall make every effort to keep these costs as low as possible by aiming to place you in the nearest appropriate school to where you live.
At the end of your Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) year, Golden Hellos are offered as follows:
Maths and Science £5,000
Design & Technology, ICT, Music, and MFL £2,500
There is no Golden Hello for PE and English.
